Arkana College is a registered and certified independent, non-government, primary school which was first established in 1960, and currently run completely by a Muslim board of directors. NAPLAN 2009 28/09/09

in the national numeracy/literacy exams Arkana college performed with distinction and the class average for both Yr. 3 and Yr. 5 were both significantly above the national average!

Band 6 is the highest possible Band for Yr. 3 71% of our Yr. 3 students achieved at least one Band 6 for Literacy and 41% achieved a Band 6 in Numeracy.

band 8 is the highest possible Band for Yr. 5 30% of our Yr. 5 students achieved at least one Band 8 forLiteracy and 20% achieved a Band 8 in Numeracy
