Arkana College is a registered and certified independent, non-government, primary school which was first established in 1960, and currently run completely by a Muslim board of directors. The Arkana Curriculum
The children are taught the mandatory Board of Studies key learning areas:
1. English;
2. Mathematics;
3. Science and Technology;
4. Human Society and its Environment;
5. Personal Development, Health and Physical Education;
6. Creative Arts;
7. Arabic (LOTE).
Additionally, the children are taught Quran and Islamic Studies.
