Our Environment Club recently visited Botany Bay to clear rubbish including plastics and foam items that ends up in our oceans and waterways causing great harm to the environment and marine life. Students saw first hand how storm water drains brought rubbish from surrounding suburbs directly on to a local beach and into Botany Bay. Never throw rubbish out the window, nor leave it around in the playground or after a picnic as it often ends up in our oceans.
